Tom joined Active Chartered Financial Planners in August 2024 after working as a management accountant at a local haulage firm. Tom is a graduate of Newcastle University where he gained a distinction in MSc Accounting, Finance & Strategic Investment. In his role, Tom works closely with the firm’s financial planners and paraplanners to assist with the production of high quality reports for clients.

As a member of the client support team, Tom works closely with a number of the firm’s financial planners by providing valuable administration support. He also supports the paraplanners in the creation of client reports, using a variety of software.

Tom graduated from Newcastle University in 2021, gaining a distinction in the MSc in Accounting, Finance & Strategic Investment. Since joining the firm, Tom has continued his study, passing a number of exams with the aim of becoming chartered.
Hobbies and Interests
Tom is a keen surfer and can often be seen ‘riding the waves’ in his home town of Saltburn.
