The Role
Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Financial Planner to join our established and highly regarded team in Stockton-on-Tees.
This is a rare opportunity to join a successful independent Chartered firm with an existing client portfolio ready to service.
Unlike many financial planning positions, you won’t be expected to build an entire client base from scratch. Instead, you’ll have the opportunity to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with established clients while delivering high-quality, independent financial advice.
You’ll be supported by our experienced paraplanning and client support teams, allowing you to concentrate on what matters most: understanding your clients’ objectives and helping them achieve their financial goals.

Role Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, independent financial planning advice to an established portfolio of clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Understand clients’ financial circumstances, objectives and aspirations.
- Develop personalised financial planning strategies tailored to individual requirements.
- Provide advice across pensions, investments, retirement planning, protection and wider financial planning needs.
- Conduct regular client reviews and ensure financial plans remain aligned with changing circumstances.
- Work closely with our experienced paraplanning and client support teams.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, compliance and client service.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships.
- Contribute positively to our collaborative culture and continued growth.
Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Financial Planner who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional advice and putting clients first.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of five years’ experience advising clients.
- Chartered Financial Planner status or be actively working towards achieving Chartered status.
- Strong technical knowledge across financial planning, pensions and investments.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, client-focused advice.
- Strong professional ethics and a collaborative approach.
- A desire to continue developing professionally.
