Career Profile

Samuel is one of the newest members of team Active, joining the company as client support manager in January 2022.

Sam’s career in financial services began in 2016 when he worked at Santander in the Mortgage Centre before studying for the level 3 diploma in Business Studies. He then moved to The Royal Bank of Scotland then Barclays where he worked as a customer complaints handler.  During this time Sam studied for the BA Hons in Accounting and Finance, gaining a 2:1 in 2020.

Before joining Active, Sam worked in a similar client support role at another local financial planning firm.

Key Services

In his role as client support manager, Sam offers day to day support to Active’s financial planners by managing and completing client applications for mortgages, pensions & investments efficiently.

Office based Sam provides an important link between the advisers and their clients.

In 2021, Sam completed the first two modules of the diploma in financial services.  Keen to develop his technical knowledge and underpin the skills he is learning at Active, Sam plans to continue the study to gain his diploma in 2022.
