They say things come in threes….lockdown (part 3) working practices for Active

Following on from the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday evening and due to the rise in the new more contagious variant of coronavirus, England is now in its third national lockdown.

The prompt implementation of the tougher restrictions, and in particular the closure of all schools in England has been a shock to many, and will pose problems for those of us trying to juggle our own work with childcare and home schooling.

At Active, the challenges we have faced since March have taught us that we can operate very differently (and will continue to do so), but with minimal disruption to you, our clients & friends.  By holding reviews & meetings remotely (via Zoom or telephone) instead of in person, communicating regularly with email newsletters and social media updates and presenting topical discussions and presentations with our webinar series we hope you agree that we have kept you happy and informed.

In line with the latest government advice, unfortunately we still cannot meet with you face to face for at least the next 6 weeks (or until Boris tells us otherwise).  We can, however continue to meet virtually using Zoom, Facetime or Microsoft Teams and we are always on the end of the phone or email.

Active House will remain closed to visitors, and operated by ‘skeleton staff’ to ensure all essential work is completed in a timely manner. All other members of the team, including advisers will be working remotely from home during this time, so will be contactable by mobile or email.

As we have done during the last 10 months, we will continue to keep you updated with developments, so we recommend that you follow our social media channels for updates.

Thank you for your continued support – we are in this together.
