We are thrilled to have been named one of the ‘Best Financial Advisers to Work For’ in the recent Professional Adviser awards, which took place in London recently.
The industry-wide, national survey and awards programme is run in partnership with Professional Adviser* and Best Companies Group**, and honours the UK’s best places of employment in financial services.
The two part application process included an evaulation of the firm’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics, which determined 25% of the overall score.
The second part was a whole team survey to measure our employee experience, with 77 statements to answer, focusing on 8 core areas. They included the firm’s Leadership and Planning, Corporate Culture and Communications, Work environment and Training, Development and Resources. The employee questionnaire made up the remaining 75% of our score.
Still reeling with excitement from our award win, we received the surprise news that we’d been nominated in The Northern Echo’s inaugural Business IQ awards, shorlisted in the Employee Health and Wellbeing category. Unfortunately, though it wasn’t our night (you can’t win them all!) and Atom Bank took home the trophy.
