Meet the team: Ruth Conner

It’s our meet the team blog and it’s Ruth Conner’s turn!

As Marketing Manager, Ruth works closely with the directors to implement Active’s marketing strategy. This includes managing the company’s website, blog and social media profile; planning and coordinating Active’s events programme; maximising Active’s media coverage and supporting Active’s team of Financial Planners with marketing literature to maximise the offering to clients and future clients.

Qualifications: CIM Level 6 Professional Diploma in Marketing, CIM Diploma in Digital Marketing & NVQ Level 3 in Management

Family: My other half, Nik & our 2 gorgeous girls Beatrice who is 6 and Esther, 3

Hobbies: I love our family holidays & weekends away (not always with children!), spending time with family & friends and regular visits to the gym(for hiit & grit classes)

Favourite restaurant: I really like Muse in Yarm.  I just don’t think you can beat it for food & service. And it’s very child friendly too!
