Meet the Team: Joe Carey, Independent Financial Adviser

In our latest ‘Meet the Team’ it’s all about Joe Carey, Independent Financial Adviser and devoted Boro Fan (not to mention the tallest person at Active!).

A member of Team Active since March 2015, Joe became fully qualified as an Independent Financial Adviser last Summer, and is now building up an excellent client base by offering the ful range of financial products.  Joe is also studying to become Chartered.

Name: Joe Carey

Job Title: Independent Financial Adviser & Paraplanner

Role: As an IFA I cover all aspects of Financial Advice, including Investments and Pensions. In my role as a Paraplanner, this involves researching products and options for clients and reporting back to the other Financial Advisers within Active.

Qualifications: Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Dip PFS)

Area covered: North East

Family: Engaged to be married (to Kate) – August 2018

Hobbies: Music and watching/playing any sport, mainly Football and Golf. Season ticket holder at the mighty Boro. UTB.

Favourite restaurant: Fellini’s in Middlesbrough

Person you would most like to meet (alive or dead) and why: Alive – Juninho. Best footballer I’ve ever seen play for Boro and a legend. Dead – John Lennon.
