7-9 June 2019: A game of two halves
Prostate cancer kills 1 man every 45 minutes – that’s two men during one football match! To do their bit to reduce that number, 4 of the team at Active Chartered Financial Planners in Stockton are taking part in ‘Football to Amsterdam’; a gruelling cycling challenge covering 150 miles.
Active’s Andy Mitchell, who took on the same challenge last year, is joined by MD Karl Pemberton and Directors Paul Gibson and Karl Nendick for this year’s challenge.
The team will begin the journey on 7th June, kicking off the route at Barnsley Football Club. They will cycle to Hull where they board an overnight ferry and enjoy some well earned rest before arriving in Rotterdam the next day.
Day two is a flat and scenic ride along the Dutch canal paths, with the event culminating at Amsterdam’s Johan Cruyff Arena.
