Career Profile

Rachel worked for the Yorkshire Bank for 19 years where her many roles included Private Partner and managing the portfolios of high net worth private banking clients.

Rachel joined Active as Office Manager in 2009, her substantial experience in dealing with clients’ financial needs giving her a real advantage in the role.

As part of the firm’s ongoing growth strategy, and due to her exceptional management experience, Rachel was promoted to Associate Director in 2023.

Continual professional development is an important part of Rachel’s role, working hard to achieve the Diploma in Management & Leadership in 2018, and then Chartered Manager status from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) in 2020.

In 2023, Rachel began her study for the Masters (MA) programme in Leadership and Management at Teesside University.

Key Services

Rachel is known for bringing outstanding organisational skills, excellent service standards and a positive attitude in her day to day management of the office.

As a member of the board, Rachel works closely with her fellow directors by managing and implementing the firm’s strategy and objectives.

In her role as Practice Manager, Rachel manages the client support team and supports the adviers to ensure Active continues to provide an excellent client experience.

Rachel’s friendly and approachable manner makes her the first port of call for many members of the team, who greatly value her care.

-Certificate in Mortgage Advice (CeMAP, 2000)
